If you want amazing Italian food and great service this is the place for you.

Local Italian fare will not disappoint. Good portions and good taste. Recommended anytime you visit Ramona and get that Italian hankering. I had lasagna and wife had the spinach ravioli. Both dishes were filling and fulfilling.

Love this Italian gem, cozy and quant. Food is excellent, service is great. Nothing negative by this 4 star... Definitely worth checking out!!

Best Pizza in Ramona, friendly staff and very reasonable prices

I've been goinging to Mama Rosas several times a year for about 10 years. The Italian food is more northern Italian style as opposed to Sicilian. I've loved everything I've tried here but my favorite is their Lasagna. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere comfortable. The food takes a while as everything is prepared fresh. Definitely worth the wait. They also offer take-out.

Ordered a pizza at 4pm and told the girl that I will be there to get the pizza at 6pm and I have no pizza at 6pm and the girl said that they don't have a order for me, what do you want, people are trying to support your business and your people are failing you

Real nice Italian food. Meatballs are good with a carafe of house chianti. Pizza had a good crust.

Horrible pizza, went there before but toppings were skimpy so I ordered the next time with twice the topping amount. I got a pizza with the toppings fine chopped and some horrible crumble mess I think was sausage.

Have only done take out.Placing an order via phone and online has been easy.Food has been ready as promised.Tasty and hefty portions.

Mexican food at reasonable prices

Service was slow and spotty. The gf pizza took way to long to cook and i didnt feel well after. Not great for large groups.

awsome food great service . got there half an hour before closing and they still served us and food was amazing. get the dinner special for two spaghetti meatball ravioli lasagna antipasto salad and pizza garlic bread 28 bucks tons of left overs. bomb digity

The food was much better than i expected. The prices were were very good because the portions were so generous. Definitely coming back

C'mon guys, get your stuff together. First time we ordered a take out pizza under new ownership, the works with anchovies. We got no anchovies. Tonight we ordered the same thing. We got a small ham with jalapeno and a large half cheese and half pepperoni. Not even close to what we ordered after calling it in and waiting another 30 minutes after arrival to the place. Somebody else is going to get my pizza and I'm sure they won't be happy either. The young blonde girl at the counter seemed totally lost too. That's 0 for 2 for me. I won't be back.

Food and service was good. Not a pasta fan. Wife had spinach and mushroom calzone and a side of meatballs for me. Three because the furniture needs update. Italian style dim lighting.

We had a wonderful experience at Mamma Ramona’s! Family friendly, great service and super yummy food! They had just sat up additional outdoor seating and we were very comfortable eating there. Definitely recommend this place!

Years ago the food was awful. Frozen lasagna from the grocery store was better. At my wife's insistence we finally went back. The food was great this time. Hopefully they keep the same cook and buyer.

I have only been in the deli side for pizza orders. The other side is a full Italian restaurant. The pizzas are the best in town. As good as anything you could get down the hill.

The service and food is good. They did not have gf noodles as shown on their menu though, so I could only eat salad, but my family told me that everything was delicious. Otherwise, I'd give 5 stars.

Good pizza

Mamma Rosa's food is great and staff is friendly and attentive. Their various baked pasta dishes and pesto sauce can run with the best of them. Their Pizza options are also some of the best in Ramona. The only bummer is the seating booths that are in serious need of a remodel and repair. The dining rooms are split into quaint areas that can feel a bit claustrophobic and dated. We go for the food and friendly service. They are only open from 4-9 or 9:30pm depending on the day. Definitely worth the trip. Prices are average and food definitely above average!

The food is great, but expect to wait a LONG time for your food. 1 hour 45 minutes wait...My wife wanted Momma Ramona's for Mother's Day. She placed our order at 4:50pm and was told it would be ready at 5:50. No problem. I drive into town at 5:50 to pick up our food and it wasn't ready. It is now 6:35pm and i can finally head back home to feed my wife.I get it, we weren't the only order, but 1 hour 45 minute wait at any restaurant is ridiculous!

Love the pizza, love the staff... Been going there for years... Will continue to go for many years..

Mamma ramonas, new name, same taste we have grown to enjoy over the yrs. They have added some new options & specials to the menu. The side patio dinning is a cool spot to enjoy you're meal in the evening. Nice new set up & ambiance.

Old world charm and great service

This restaurant is called Mama Rosa, not Mamma Ramona. And, the food is great here.

Great food with great service

Great food. There was gonna be a long wait due to an unexpected catering order that slammed the kitchen, but the staff made sure we were aware and offered to seat us and provide bread, salad and drinks while we waited. They worked extra hard to make up alot of time and we got our food sooner than expected. As always it was delicious. Great job Mamma Rosa!

I am new to the area and have eaten here twice.First time I enjoyed a pasta. The second time I had a pizza, an amazing pizza.Currently my favorite pizza in Ramona!

We LOVE the Mama Rosa's in El Cajon so gave this one a try. Sadly, we were so disappointed with the service. The food was still pretty yummy or my rating would be lower.

Used to love the breaded calamari dinner. Didn't see it on the menu anymore. Service was slow to get seated and there wasn't anyone else waiting to be seated. The pizza was ok. But it was like just crust and cheese. I still wanted to eat it though. If they would have added more sauce and a little more seasoning it would be a great pizza. My wife liked the lasagna. I wasn't to crazy for it. And the stuffed pasta dishes were pretty good. Sad to say without the calamari dinner probably won't go back to often. The atmosphere is relaxing. I would probably tell people to give it a try and see what you think.

This place was so good!! We had 4 different dishes and shared with each other and all of it was so tasty!! I highly recommend this place ❤

Easy order and pick up

First time ordered takeout: had lasagna and ravioli spinach florentine w/rose sauce. Lasagna was delicious and picture perfect. Rose abuse was good too. Side salads were ice cold but lacked substance. Will definitely return.

Food was late & They did not have our complete order

They have great pizza, tastes fresh and the employee's seem to really care about the food they're serving. They check the pizza to make sure it's correct and they're always cheerful and polite.

very disappointed! I heard nothing but good things about it so couldn't wait to try it! was a big let down! food was not served at same time, last meal (which was easiest one I was told) was brought when others were half way thru, and was not checked up on, until right at the end. and taste of chicken alfredo was not very good either.. so unfortunately will not be going back there. not only from the cost, but from all the good words I heard about it, I expected a little better outcome.

Still as good as ever. Had the 2 person meal deal, upgraded pizza to gluten free for my son. He ate pizza, we ate ravioli, spaghetti, lasagne, antipasto, bread. Jessica most attentive server as always. They no longer have gluten free pasta (please bring it back).

Only giving three stars because they forgot about my order which already was an hour wait. Then they had to make it which meant I had to wait another 30 mins. Mind it it’s 8:30 at night.

Best pizza in Ramona in my opinion. Good service. Feels like a real old school Italian place.
